What's Wrong With Sunday PinaSaya?

What is wrong with Sunday Pinasaya? It is perhaps the corniest and most boring comedy show today, and I think its antics are getting tired each week.

One of its new segments was Pepeng Astigidig featuring Jose Manalo, and as entertaining as he is, he flopped big time to put that skit over, its so annoying when the bunch of casts was put together just to shout at each other. Nobody gets the flow and nobody cared as everyone wished it ended as soon as it began.

Then there's the regular segments like Judge MD, to be honest I dont find two people bickering and trading insults entertaining not to mention distasteful, the same old stuff they've hated Vice Ganda for.

What else is worst? The fake talent seach/pageant whatever which is also done by its sister show Eat Bulaga or in Allan K's comedy bars. To make it even worst than worst the show went to overtime they failed to announce a fake winner making the segment abosolutely pointless.

Sunday Pinasaya is just in its infancy but obviously it already burnt out, well it was never on fire in the first place. Its shortlived success was just an extension of its sister show's hype but at least it has its own identity during its early run now its just an extension of its sister show. Not surprising that the rival show is now clawing back to the top.

Maging Sino Ka Man Failing In The Rating Race

GMA's new Primetime Teleserye Maging Sino Ka Man has not been so impressive in terms of ratings, it's just the third most-watched show on primetime in its debut week and not even the most-watched GMA primetime program, that honor goes to 24Oras while ABS-CBN's Batang Quiapo is now the undisputed number 1 weekday show after Voltes V legacy ended. What is even more alarming is that the ratings trend for MSKM is on a downward trajectory while Batang Quiapo is having a surge. MagingSinoKaMan's rating is just too low for its timeslot, it got bumped by Royal Blood and even by the afternoon show Abot Kamay Na Pangarap out of the top 3 daily programs. I Was Right About Louise Delos Reyes

I have always been skeptical about the huge push GMA handed to Louise Delos Reyes. From the start I've been firm and very vocal in my opinion that she's a hardsell as a leading lady, much more as the Network's top star. After a not so successful youth oriented series on TV5, Louise returned to GMA as an impromptu onscreen partner to Elmo Magalona in Pilyang Kerubin, and later as one of the casts of Tween Hearts, but only for very short stint as she was immediately elevated to leadstar status to play the title role in Alakdana and since starred in several primetime dramas, including the drowned Kambal Sirena.
