AM I THE ONLY ONE?

Just when I thought Sunday Pinasaya couldn't screw up Julie Anne San Jose even more. However, they did pulled it off this week. It's clear that they dont see her as anything more, which is both inexplicable and exaspirating.

Sunday Pinasaya is making itself clear of what it thinks of Julie Anne San Jose. Julie remains to be one of the key talents of the Kapuso Network. She's the frontrunner of GMA's very thin roster of true singers but Sunday Pinasaya does not believe in her to be a top tier star on the show. She's an A-level performer treated as a B-level talent. Fans saw more evidence of that the past weeks as the show failed or just refused to make her important.

As I reflect to this past days on GMA I wonder, Am I The Only One Who. . . . . . wonder what Sunday Pinasaya is doing with Julie Anne San Jose? It has been two straight weeks that Julie was made an afterthought on the show. She was not given a musical prod and her appearances were sporadic at best, she didnt even sang in Kantaserye where her role is supposed to be prominent. The promotion of My Guitar Princess last week were given very little importance which made me thought she wont be given a birthday prod this week, that proved to be prophetic as the brilliant people behind Sunday Pinasaya didnt produced a screentime to celebrate her birthday week on the show. Of course its more likely that they are to do it next week but thats already going beyond the norm that the show celebrate their cast's birthday in advance, which showed the production obviously just forgotten Julie's birthday and didnt really had any segment planned for her.

As I reflect to this past days about GMA I wonder, Am I The Only One Who. . . . . . wonder what have the people of GMA Artists Center been smoking lately? . . . totally agree that fans should not blame Derrick Monasterio about the awful fate of Almost A Love Story? The blame should be on the people who even thought its a good idea to reunite the loveteam, DerBie never worked before and should've been phased out, forever.

As I looked back to this past few days about GMA I wonder, Am I The Only One Who. . . . . . think GMA people have given too much credit to Alden Richards for the silver medal victory of GMA Public Affairs' Docu-drama Alaala in the New York Film Festival? GMA talents, reporters, and executives congratulated Alden on social media but never showed the same appreciation for Rocco Nacino and Bianca Umali who were also part of the project, furthermore didnt even credited the production and the Martial Law victims who shared their experiences for the story. Well, maybe because congratulating them wont generate as much likes and retweets.

As I reflect to this past week on GMA programing, I Wonder Am I The Only One Who. . . . . . still find it absurd that Minerva a.k.a. Super Ma'am and the Tamawos are having a hard time finding the Sakras while Minerva's academically challenged students can just randomly locate it, and find it even more absurd that they could find the Sakras but couldn't find the resemblance between their teacher and Super Ma'am? . . . wonder why GMA is giving so much push to Kris Aquino impersonator Tetay? The stand up comedian is in a high profile role as a villain in Super Ma'am's current arc but has also been more visible in GMA programimg lately including as a guest co-host of MARS- of all GMA talents. Is this sort of rib to Kris Aquino who rumoredly wants to be a Kapuso but has been declined by the management? . . . thought GMA Artist Center's Grand Fans Day wasn't that "grand" afterall? The event almost went unnoticed and just lacked the star power

As I reflect to this past week on GMA programing I wonder, Am I The Only One Who. . . . . . is curious how Ken Chan and Barbie Forteza's movie This Time I'll Be Sweeter fair in the box-office? The movie openned this week and there have been no updates about its current gross, history says when GMA dont mention the gross a film featuring their stars. It could only mean one thing, and its not good news. . . . find it absurd that Super Ma'am's dad was able to got in to the Tamawo's lair to help her daughter without being intercepted by guards or goons and thinks its even more absurd that he knows where the place is and got in there so fast? . . . thought the bathala Dalikmata a.k.a. Joyce Ching is mentioning is a very considerate god for not only he retained Joyce's ability to see premonitions but also gave her a nice regular clothes when she was turned into a mortal as a punishment? . . . think its underwhelming that the role of Isagani Dagohoy in Super Ma&

Near the top of GMA Network's priority list should have this words; "Find something for Julie Anne San Jose". GMA can't have a performer that talented behind the scenes for far too long. It can't keep conceptualizing new shows without something for her. It can't keep ignoring the call of her fans to feature her more prominently on television.

After the conclusion of Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa which ended as a top rater, Julie Anne San Jose has not had much direction. So Is GMA holding her back or is there a long term plan in place we are yet to see?

Julie Anne San Jose was one of the performers at the Globe And Disney's I Dare To Dream Concert last Wednesday, and wowed everyone with her performance of Moana's theme song How Far I'll Go, which according to the audience and expectators was one or if not the most applauded performance of the night.

For the past three weeks I have skipped watching Sunday Pinasaya--in a long time in my recent memory I've intentionally missed Julie Anne San Jose's show. I keep up with the program through social media and if there is a singing prod or other noteworthy segment regarding Julie then I just check it out on YouTube

2016 have been a good year for Julie Anne San Jose spite GMA didn't put enough effort into showcasing her. After renewing her contract last August, GMA didn't craft alot of substancial plans for their most talented star. Her TV projects had been long delayed. And her music career was disappointingly mishandled.

When Julie Anne San Jose re-signed with GMA last August things seemed to have full of promise, and why not? she's one of the network's most loyal, most hardworking and most importantly the most talented star on their roster.

In the wake of my rant ( click to read ) last week, Sunday Pinasaya had Julie Anne San Jose in a singing prod for the second part their anniversary special. The Pop Sweetheart performed Calvin Harris & Rihanna's This is What You Came For in a sing and dance number with Lani Misalucha and another one with an April Boy/Boys medley for Marian Rivera's skit. With no surprise to anyone Julie delivered both fantastically

Here we go again. Julie Anne San Jose is the human cannonball with her helmet strapped tight, her arms pressed to his sides, waiting inside a cannon that may never fire. GMA simply refuses to commit to elevating the talented singer.

As I reflect to this past week on GMA I wonder Am I The Only One Who. . . . . . thinks Annette Gozon Abrogar (picture above) sent a clear wrong message to the rest of GMA roster with her statement "Aldub Teleserye Is Our Priority"? Thats explains away why most GMA artists are in floating status, GMA primetime is currently full of Koreanovelas and why Jennylyn Mercado's teleserye got cancelled.

Its just this week when GMA started airing the plug for Superstar Duets, the new reality comedy-singing competition hosted by Jennylyn Mercado which will be replacing Lipsync Battle Ph starting September 3. If I didnt know better I swear Jennylyn is set to fail with this show.

It is now official . Julie Anne San Jose remains a Kapuso after signing an exclusive multi-year contract with GMA Network last Monday. Of course thats very obvious from the very start, afterall, its the network that really discovered her and has been her home for the past ten years. Never it crossed my mind that someone like Julie would ever leave GMA.

If you're a fan of Julie Anne San Jose chances are you're already running out of patience on GMA Records for not yet releasing the music video of Naririnig Mo Ba? The video was shot in June and was said to be release in July yet its already August and GMA Records has not given or-- for what I believe stopped giving any updates when it will premiere, or will it ever premiere?. It seems something or somebody is compromising Julie's project.
