Julie Anne Not Being Showcased More Is Wrong

Near the top of GMA Network's priority list should have this words; "Find something for Julie Anne San Jose".

GMA can't have a performer that talented behind the scenes for far too long. It can't keep conceptualizing new shows without something for her. It can't keep ignoring the call of her fans to feature her more prominently on television.

A year is aleady gone from Julie's GMA contract she signed last year yet aside from a soap opera the Kapuso Network hasn't had anything else major for the talented artist.

We've seen them trying to give her more to do by guesting her on few shows. Though It does gives her something to do for a while none of which showcased her array of talents, and much of the programs they'd choosed for her to appeared on to only has a handful of audience.

Soon enough they have to had real projects for Julie, and it needs to be a major one.

Betong Sumaya will be hosting a rehash of a GMA gameshow along with Solenn Heusaff. Solenn herself has a loaded pile of shows on her way after renewing her ties with GMA. What has happened to Lilybeth Rasonable's promised show that will showcase Julie's hosting and singing talent when she re-signed with the network last year?

There are large number of talents many fans would classify as "underused". But much of that collection of benchwarmers are best suited for niche roles of sort.

Julie is a potencial cornerstone and has long been one of GMA's prime talents. There's something special about Julie and her peers is recognizing that more than GMA itself.

Lea Salonga expressed her admiration for Julie a few times and that doesn't change with her recent tweet.

When performers of the other network specially someone who is internationally recognized praises her work maybe you should stop hiding her from the public.

GMA decision makers aren't making it clear that they feel the same way. Julie wont be part of any primetime shows or will be releasing any new music soon. And beyond just the many times she sat down backstage longer than she's singing on Sunday Pinasaya, there's no clear path in front of her right now.

Alden Richards, Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid are obviously GMA's main focus. But there certainly still room for Julie, one that will make her perform with other great singers and legit performers alike on a new musical show.

Julie's musical productions begs her to be more active. Her resume is a proof she will produce top notch work on stage.

But thats not the case as she is often asked to step aside and wait for her turn.

That's an illogical move. GMA has to find space on the stage for Julie.

Maging Sino Ka Man Failing In The Rating Race

GMA's new Primetime Teleserye Maging Sino Ka Man has not been so impressive in terms of ratings, it's just the third most-watched show on primetime in its debut week and not even the most-watched GMA primetime program, that honor goes to 24Oras while ABS-CBN's Batang Quiapo is now the undisputed number 1 weekday show after Voltes V legacy ended. What is even more alarming is that the ratings trend for MSKM is on a downward trajectory while Batang Quiapo is having a surge. MagingSinoKaMan's rating is just too low for its timeslot, it got bumped by Royal Blood and even by the afternoon show Abot Kamay Na Pangarap out of the top 3 daily programs. I Was Right About Louise Delos Reyes

I have always been skeptical about the huge push GMA handed to Louise Delos Reyes. From the start I've been firm and very vocal in my opinion that she's a hardsell as a leading lady, much more as the Network's top star. After a not so successful youth oriented series on TV5, Louise returned to GMA as an impromptu onscreen partner to Elmo Magalona in Pilyang Kerubin, and later as one of the casts of Tween Hearts, but only for very short stint as she was immediately elevated to leadstar status to play the title role in Alakdana and since starred in several primetime dramas, including the drowned Kambal Sirena.
