Why GMA Records Wont Release ForeverEP On CDs?

Julie Anne San Jose's EP FOREVER (Produced by Vim Entertainment) went straight to the top of iTunes album chart in just less than two hours after its release.

That's without marketing help from GMA Network, without commercial plug and without GMA Social media accounts reminding us every two seconds.

And while this new record is distributed by GMA Records and we're thankful of that, yet I find it dumb in their part that they are undecided or has no plans at all to release the EP in CD format, and According to VIM its still under negotiations.

Julie Anne San Jose a loyal homegrown talent of GMA Network and manage by GMA Artists Center needs to negotiate to GMA Records where she's signed as a recording artist sounds ridiculous and insulting my logic.

Add the fact that Julie has successful albums under a used to be ailing recording company.

Like what I've said before; I dont know if there are people behind the scenes who are trying to hold Julie down, or those people behind the scenes are just so inept that they think what they are doing with Julie's career are actually right. Well, She's no longer singing on Television and GMA is using the format of their not so new variety show as excuse.

Julie sold platinums and diamonds for GMA Records but now that they found a new cashcow, they are now setting her aside like an old toy.

Maging Sino Ka Man Failing In The Rating Race

GMA's new Primetime Teleserye Maging Sino Ka Man has not been so impressive in terms of ratings, it's just the third most-watched show on primetime in its debut week and not even the most-watched GMA primetime program, that honor goes to 24Oras while ABS-CBN's Batang Quiapo is now the undisputed number 1 weekday show after Voltes V legacy ended. What is even more alarming is that the ratings trend for MSKM is on a downward trajectory while Batang Quiapo is having a surge. MagingSinoKaMan's rating is just too low for its timeslot, it got bumped by Royal Blood and even by the afternoon show Abot Kamay Na Pangarap out of the top 3 daily programs. I Was Right About Louise Delos Reyes

I have always been skeptical about the huge push GMA handed to Louise Delos Reyes. From the start I've been firm and very vocal in my opinion that she's a hardsell as a leading lady, much more as the Network's top star. After a not so successful youth oriented series on TV5, Louise returned to GMA as an impromptu onscreen partner to Elmo Magalona in Pilyang Kerubin, and later as one of the casts of Tween Hearts, but only for very short stint as she was immediately elevated to leadstar status to play the title role in Alakdana and since starred in several primetime dramas, including the drowned Kambal Sirena.
