AM I The Only One Who?: AllOutSundays Is still Boring And More. . .

AllOutSundays thoughts: Am I The Only One Who. . .

. . . Wondered why GMA needed to have a big celebration for their 71st anniversary?
I've been a loyal GMA viewer for about three decades now but who the hell ever celebrated a 71st anniversary?

. . . Thought Sanya Lopez getting featured in the All Out Concert segment of AllOutSundays made no sense?
Sanya bypassed a lot of the regular performers of the show in performing on the said segment, not to mention she was the first one who got to perform on it solo. It would've made sense if it is to welcome her as a new cast member but its purpose was seemed to celebrate her, getting 12 million followers on Tiktok, if that's the case then they should've just uploaded her 2-minute performance on Tiktok instead.

However, Am I the only one who. . .

. . . felt temporarily relieved that Sanya Lopez wasn't (or at least not yet?) announced as a regular cast in AlloutSundays?
Sanya is a hard worker but she's also overexposed, she is seen weekdays on First Yaya and Saturdays on Agimat Ng Agila and she will soon have a new primetime series Lolong, putting her on AllOutSundays is already overkill, and fans of other talents are already starting to resent her.

. . . Wondered what has happened to Golden Cañedo?
The first-ever The Clash champion has been missing from AllOutSundays for quite some time now. Has GMA released her from her contract, or did they make her undergo some cosmetic enhancement like Jessica? Should we go to the police station and report her missing?

. . . Prefers the solo spots for Queendom rather than the duets they did last Sunday?
Duets are fine, if I don't know it's just the (un)creatives' way of compressing the running time of the segment because they need to allot more time to nonsensical segments.

. . . Thought last Sunday's episode of AllOutSundays called a kick-off party was just a regular boring show it has been for more than a year now?
Aside from Julie Anne San Jose kicking off the opening prod and the Queendom segment, there was nothing else noteworthy about the show, Mark Bautista, Christian Bautista, and Barbie Forteza didn't have any segment, instead, the show wasted its airtime to the stupid comedy segment, and the Shopee Shake segment.

. . . Thought the Shopee game segment is a stupid uncreative idea?
I know Shopee is paying GMA truckloads of money to advertise on the show but it's stupid to make a 25-minute regular game segment for them, the show is roughly 2 hours and half of it is already dedicated to the comedy segment nobody wants to see, now you only have 35 minutes for musical prods. No wonder why some casts were not featured, Queendom had changed into duets and most of the singers didn't have a singing prod.

Miscellaneous Thoughts: Am I The Only One Who . . .

. . . Is still mad that GMA ditched Heartful Café in favor of the replay of Endless Love?
I know Heartful Café was originally intended for their B-channel GTV and was on its final two weeks but they have no other good reason to kicked it to a timeslot when most are already at sleep just for a replay of an old show, especially when it is doing great over ratings on its original timeslot. Further, the move came out of nowhere without a formal announcement.

. . . Thinks that Heartful Café is nothing short had a great run?
It doesn't have a veteran seasoned actor or so-called network premium stars. The show was all carried by Julie Anne San Jose, her chemistry to her co-stars who all played their characters well, and of course, the writers and director who made a fresh approach and distanced from the traditional overwritten melodramatic teleseryes.

. . . Is excited about what other characters Julie Anne San Jose could play soon?
Julie improved her acting by leaps and bounds in Heartful Café, I'm now looking forward to her next acting project like her upcoming Viu PH original musical drama "Still". And I'm still waiting for GMA to give her a huge tv series.

. . . Wonders if GMA people who are in charge of the programming noticed some of their stars have two primetime shows? Sandy Andolong is seen on First Yaya and Endless Love re-run which are back-to-back shows, further, Dennis Trillo who is also part of Endless Love, will start his new teleserye Legal Wives soon. Unless the plan is to intentionally overexpose them and make the viewers get tired of their faces, it makes me think the powers that be don't watch their programming to notice their stars are sort of pulling double duty while the rest of their talents are struggling for exposure.

. . . Wonders if GMA ever regretted giving the first break to Kathryn Bernardo?
Kathryn started in ABS-CBN as part of Going Bulilit but it's GMA who first gave her a break in a tv drama when she played the young Marian Rivera in Endless Love which led to ABS to re-sign her and become the most popular actress of her generation.

. . . Is not thrilled with the news of former ABS-CBN officials signing with GMA?
It has been strongly rumored that Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto who are former Star Magic executives are confirmed to sign with GMA to be part of GMAAC decision-makers. While everyone thinks they would help in improving GMA's talent build-up, I have a feeling that they will just pull politics behind the scenes to make GMA sign their favorite ex-Kapamilya stars Lilybeth Rasonable is drooling over, which will make homegrown GMA talents irrelevant.

. . . thinks GMA will look like an ABS-CBN wannabe if they continue to sign ex-Kapamilya talents?
After his first appearance on GMA, John Lloyd Cruz is already confirmed to do a project on the network and just right after, Beauty Gonzalez officially signed a contract with GMA but before them, Richard Yap and Khalil Ramos were the first to jump ship and there are still rumors of more Kapamilya refugees to come over. Network transfer isn't new but GMA seems trying to be ABS-CBN too much by signing so-called Kapamilya big stars and also kind of accepting that they are starlet filled network.

. . . Thinks the first season of CenterStage was a flop not to mention a bust?
It's not all GMA's fault as the Kids singing competition was challenged by the Covid19 lockdowns and restrictions but it's also the reason why they should've called off the season in the first place and just restart when it's safe to go, but of course, Alden Richards can't have his show canceled, but now what do you do with the first winner, make her sit at home for a year? She's still restricted from working during the pandemic.
