Megan Young Returns To GMA

Megan Young is back where she belongs or where she wasn't belong a few years ago.The 2013 Miss World just signed an exclusive guaranteed contract with GMA7, the same network that never saw her as anything bigger the first time around. Who did by the way?

Megan is a product of the awful StarStruck season 2, she didnt win but as a standard procedure she was signed by network. Her projects wans't anything noteworthy, in fact her appearances were sporadic at best. Its clear that time she is not bound for anything big so Im not surprised that they eventually let go of her. To be honest, who cares? And I bet Felipe Gozon doesn't even know she's employed.

Then she went to ABS-CBN where she was given better roles and better projects yet stardom remains elusive. But in 2013 she won the country's first ever Miss World title and GMA was laying claim she's their Kapuso though technically she's still an ABS-CBN contract star at the time.

If ever Megan didn't win the beauty crown would GMA still offer her a lucrative contract she cant refuse?

So what does GMA has for her today that it didnt have before?

Well, she will have a StarStruck homecoming as its new host and to land on that promised role as the new Marimar.

Of course that would be travesty to other Kapuso stars who are more talented and has worked their butt off the past eight years Megan wasn't around. But its business its their company and they can do whatever they want and put whoever they want regardless of anyone's perception.

GMA excutives are fond of winners but are too dumb to make their own and too lazy to help their talents to be.

And unfortunately for them, interests on Megan has already dropped since turning her crown over, so they need to do overtime to make her a big star she's not in the first place.
