Am I The Only One Who?: Thoughts On Encantadia, Lipsync BattlePH, Sunday PinaSaya, And More. . .
. . . thought Minea has a confusing character in Encantadia? The Queen of Lireo told her daughter Amihan never avenge his father's death, quoting those who fight with a sword will eventually die with a sword much like her father. Wow! That's a peace loving diplomatic leader. But isn't that the same queen who went to Hathoria to attack Hagorn and curse the people of that kingdom to have grosteque appearances?
. . . thinks Rocco Nacino is not suitable for the role of Aquil? Rocco is playing the lead general of Lireo's army but he's not that physically imposing or intimidating (too short that is), very softspoken in his dialouges even when he's supposed to be angry and he smirks alot. Isn't it he's more qualified as a butler than a warrior?
. . . thought Ruru Madrid is even more of a miscast for his Ybarro role? Ybarro is supposed to be an braggart thief who can be mistaken as a prince, as he is by the way. But Ruru is kinda too thin and looks like a troublemaker in the street.
. . . thinks so far out of the four new Sanggres only Glaiza De Castro delivered her role?
. . . thinks her Muyak role in Encantadia sums up how GMA percieves StarStruck ultimate survivor Klea Pineda? Muyak is a pixie fairy who is the personal servant to Alena (Gabbi Garcia), a very small role literally and figuratively (even smaller than Imaw). Note, the first Starstruck Ultimate Survivor Jennylyn Mercado played Lirah the daughter of Amihan and was a prominent part of the original Encantadia. Another SS winner Jackie Rice also had a prominemt role in the telefantasya as Alena's daughter Armea. Its obvious GMA doesn't have huge faith in Klea unlike past Starstruck winners and based on her performance so far I guess GMA made the right call.
. . . thought Gladys Reyes was set up to lose when she did a Cindy Lauper against Camille Prats' Iggy Azalea in their Lipsync Battle clash? Its 2016 and nobody listens to Cindy Lauper anymore, add the fact that the jury a.k.a. studio audience are mostly millennials.I also chuckled on Gladys being clueless about who Iggy Azalea is.
. . . wonder if there's any GMA Artist Center personel during the blogcon of Julie Anne San Jose's Chasing The Light album and what was their reaction when someone told Julie that she's the only singer left in GMA they've been waiting to transfer to ABS-CBN? That summed up how misplaced Julie in GMA as a singer and that fans demand something that better showcases her talent.
. . . loved how Benjamin Alves defended Julie Anne San Jose from her Twitter bashers? The fans of a loveteam who just cant let go of Julie seized another opportunity to bash her over a GMA online article about Benjamin Alves and Lovi Poe-- unfortunately they've called out the wrong person and Benjamin crushed them with witty response. Obviously the bashers felt embarrassed they deleted their tweets afterwards.
. . . thought Joshua Dionisio should've been part of Kantaririt this week? Sunday Pinasaya had its not so entertaining game portion as Barbie Forteza's Birthday edition where the participants were youngstars she have worked with. Well, few actually recalls who Joshua Dionisio was but he's Barbie Forteza's original loveteam and they were once GMA's top teen loveteam.
. . . thought Kiko Estrada should've been part of Sunday Pinasaya this week to greet his real-life girlfriend Barbie Forteza? But of course GMA want to keep it a secret that everyone knows?
. . . was proven absolutely right that Sunday Pinasaya is holding off Julie Anne San Jose from having a singing segment? Just like I said that last week was just a one-off because of her album promotion-- now we're back to the same set up. Again, SPS is a detriment for Julie's singing career, not sure whether the people behind the show has something to do with it, what sure is all of fans' requests obviously falls on deaf ears.
. . . wonder when Julie Anne San Jose's Naririnig Mo Ba? Music Video will premiere? Certainly GMA already missed the best way to promote the song and Julie's album, thats just so inept.
