Am I The Only One? :Thoughts On Sunday PinaSaya, Yaya Dub And More

As I reflect to the happenings around GMA this past week, I wonder, Am I The Only One Who. . .

. . . was annoyed by the inaccurate Chika Minute report regarding the 1997 pop-culture last Friday on 24oras? They included Westlife, (who rose to prominence in 2000) in their list of hit boybands from that year. And in an interview with Rodjun Cruz he added that one of his favorite dance hits that time was NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye which is also from the 2000. It was a middle finger for a 90's kid like me.

. . . thinks Sunday PinaSaya would be a huge hit if its in Japan where comedy-variety is at its peak for decades now? The bad news is we're in the Philippines.

. . . is having a hard time symphatizing to Sunday AllStars who's Twitter fanpage expressed some not so pleasing remarks about the pilot of SPS? I, also not feeling the vibe of this new show, but that doesn't make their past show any better. Lets not forget that they are given chances to fix the show but they blew it.

. . . see the desperation on GMA when they decided to end three primetime dramas at the same time? My Mother's Secret, Let The Love Begin, and The Rich Man's Daughter all concluded last Friday to give way to three new programs namely Reply 1997 (a koreanovela), My Faithful Husband and Beautiful Strangers, marking this Monday's date as August 10 Intense. Or It shoud be August 10 tense, as they are obviously tense about KathNiel and JaDine going back to back on ABS-CBN primetime.

. . . was amazed by the number of retweets and favorites Maine Mendoza a.k.a Yaya Dub is getting on Twitter? Her single tweet could launch over 30,000 retweets and favorites. Proving how phenomenal and influential she is in today's Pinoy pop culture.
