Naririnig Mo Ba? Music Video: Will It Ever Premiere?

If you're a fan of Julie Anne San Jose chances are you're already running out of patience on GMA Records for not yet releasing the music video of Naririnig Mo Ba?

The video was shot in June and was said to be release in July yet its already August and GMA Records has not given or-- for what I believe stopped giving any updates when it will premiere, or will it ever premiere?. It seems something or somebody is compromising Julie's project.

Well from an inside source fans could first direct their frustrations to Sunday Pinasaya. It was said that the original plan was for the video to premiere on the said show last month, however Sunday Pinasaya couldn't give any screen time to it.

Julie was still on vacation during the July 10 episode and only returned live to the show July 17 (the day Chasing The Light was also released), but the episode has been dedicated for Encantadia promo and the platinum record awarding of its other mainstay-- which was by the way taped during the July 10 episode.

Julie launched the album on the show July 24 but GMA Records said to have changed plans and decided to promote the single minus the music video. While the July 31 episode was dedicated for Barbie Forteza's Birthday Celebration, and as we already know last Sunday was for Marian Rivera's Birthday.

It was also said that upto now Sunday Pinasaya is yet to clear its loaded airtime to give way for Julie's three minute music video, and with the show now busy with its anniversary special, I dont think there is any chances the music video will premiere soon. Which I believe is an indication of how Julie is being percieved by the people behind the show. Julie is an original regular mainstay on the show but she finds herself always struggling for screen time and now they're holding-off Julie's other endeavors.

I also find it inept for GMA Records and GMA Artist Center to wait for SPS' go signal while it could've launch the video through MYX Music Channel. Yes, I get it, it should be first seen on GMA but they have wasted too much time already waiting for people obviously not willing to cooperate, they could've just launched it on GMA Records' YouTube Channel instead.

I hate to do so but to give more bad news,-- It was said that there are words going around that the music video has been shelved at the moment. Which explains away why they shot Chasing The Light music video in a rush.

There are rumors that Julie's leading man in Naririnig Mo Ba? MV Benjamin Alves is set to be Jennylyn Mercado's new leading man in GMA's Pinoy adaptation of My Love From The Star and the powers that be dont want to compromise that and held-off the music video.

Well if its true, it's really disappointing. I dont even get why would they cast someone on a project who cant appear on it later anyway? The music video was shot first and Julie put alot effort doing it, aswell as all the people behind it. And fans have waited long for it. For that to be taken for granted is just disrespectful.

But, I guess Julie wasn't really that respected in GMA inspite all the years spent and everything she has done for the network. And I guess just like every other fan I am stupid for not getting used to the fact that she's being taken for granted.

Again, speaking as fan I hope this concerns will ultimately prove to have been unwarranted.

Maging Sino Ka Man Failing In The Rating Race

GMA's new Primetime Teleserye Maging Sino Ka Man has not been so impressive in terms of ratings, it's just the third most-watched show on primetime in its debut week and not even the most-watched GMA primetime program, that honor goes to 24Oras while ABS-CBN's Batang Quiapo is now the undisputed number 1 weekday show after Voltes V legacy ended. I Was Right About Louise Delos Reyes

I have always been skeptical about the huge push GMA handed to Louise Delos Reyes. From the start I've been firm and very vocal in my opinion that she's a hardsell as a leading lady, much more as the Network's top star.
